BTW the MK2 RS2000 is unrestored and showing genuine 42000 miles. Owner wants to respray it but I'm trying to stop him as even though it has a few areas where the paint has rubbed back to primer (too much polishing) it's too genuine to restoreComment

I attended the wrc super special in 2002 on the banks of the swan by the bell tower and there was a display of local mk1s and mk2s some real nice cars in WA and there was a black MK1 mex that was bloddy nice
