Well we have done the previous 2years but I spose it depends on whether Tongy's going or not, I havent spoke to him but I know he was struggling to finish his escort, altho he has got others he could use

Looks like I'll be grabbing a few zzzzzzzz's in the Premier Inn just off the M6 south of Preston.

Was thinking about heading to Morecombe for a light breakfast on Friday morning (any suggestions?).

Might see you lot in Lancaster services, but reserve my right to drive on, pitch up, and start quoffing early.

Planning to leave Lahinch Co. Clare at around 8.30am this day week. Stopping off in Limerick to pick up a few things (including a co. driver?) and will be heading for Dublin Port after 11am. Boat sails at 3pm, arrives into Liverpool at 11pm odd. From there a Premier Inn near Preston.

Frieday morning will hopefully see the old car going to Morecombe for a breakfast stop, and from there onwards to Heaves Hotel around lunchtime.

Pitch up the tents, and it'll be Miller time! Might go into Kendall Friday evening?

We'll be prepping the cars all day in morecambe and having breakfast mid morning at the unit, if you want a brew and a decent local breakfast let me know.

just copied this list of timings from taffr ,anyone interested put your names on the list

all timings are leaving timings!!!!!!!!!!!

1- leaving chievley services (m4 j13) at 0730 sharp, next stop warwick services (63mile)

2- leaving warwick services (m40 after j12) at 0900 sharp, so fuel up if you need too, next stop sanbach (90 mile)

3-leaving sanbach services (m6 afterj16) at 1115-1130, depending on the other convoy turning up, NEXT STOP(66 mile)

4-leaving lancaster services (m6 just before j33) at 1330pm , this is the last stop to the heaves which is 25 mile away,

5- arrive the heaves hotel at about 1400hrs


for the south west and wales boys i'd say meet at strensham services (m5 j9) at 0900 sharp and travel up to sandbach by 1130 to meet us, this leg is about 90 miles,

rules.............

1- try to be punctual
2- be patient (if timings slip don't whinge to me)
3- be flexible (no moaning)
4- have enough fuel for the next leg (try and fuel while waiting to leave and not as we leave)
5- take lots of pics
6- have lots fun
7- take the **** out of the trailer boys

speed approx 60 miles an hour

does this all look ok?????
