  • Pinto Engine Block stolen

    Hi,

I went in to were my Pinto Block was stored and to my shock horror it wasnt there!!!, it isnt a standard one its a millington built one ,studded block just been freshly re-built with steel gasket, moded alloy sump, pocketed pistons, pinto injection crank all lightened and balanced with Millington rods to match, it was all ready just for head to be bolted back on, 205 block painted black(as many are I understand that), I just cant get my head around this - over last 3 yrs I have lost a small fortune to theives who sometimes dont even know what they have taken.

In these hard times it just makes it a harder pill to swallow, police said we'll keep a look out but dont stand a good chance in finding such an item, I have the engine numbers but does this mean I have to look under every bonnet of an escort and possably the person who has it is like me the innocient part.

It must have been taken in the last 3weeks in the South Wales area.
If anybody been offered or have any info about my block please do let me know and hopefully can get it back.

I really dont know if I will carry on in the line of cars I do love them as most of us do but not when we all work hard to get things legally and then taken at will by the few.

    Many Thanks
    Darren
