i use footman james for the xr2 and the escort, always used them for a escort of some discription since i as 21 and theyve never increased my premium on a policy.

footman james are good as your man above says, I bought my RS2000 when I was 27 (5 years ago) and cheapest I could get at the time was Heritage, think it was about 230 quid if I remember.

Both my Mk2's are off the road but currently got my xr2i insured through performance direct who seem quite reasonable, it has to be your 2nd car though with them. (I'm assuming yours is)
