oh right. so a millionaire can pay less tax so he can buy a bentley? i think i would prefer it if he paid his dues so that people on hospital waiting lists could get their life saving operations.Comment

Cigarettes and alcohol - Duty of tobacco to rise by 5 per cent above inflation from tonight - 37p on a pack of 20 cigarettes. That raises duty faster than previous 2 per cent-above-inflation plans. Meanwhile, the price of a pint of beer is likely to rise by 5p and a bottle of wine goes up 9p.
