ebay question, something dodgy!

im a little concerned, just listed my Mercedes on eBay and within about 2 mins had a guy offering me cash tonight and willing to travel many miles, the weird thing that worry's me is he phoned on my home number that's not on the listing, how can they get the number??????, i know i should have asked the question but wanted him off the phone as he sounded well dodgy!, any ideas guys?
p.s, i have never listed my number on any of my items in the past either!

Once you've bid on an item, you can request sellers details. You should have got an e-mail from Ebay with his details also though.

If he's offering cash, I can't see a problem personally.
