I can't make the tour but I wanted to be at the show on Sunday, what do I need to do to book?

I have given a lot of thought to this and If i am honest with myself i feel that i may struggle to complete my car by the time the tour starts.I am having problems sourcing some parts and have a list as long as my arm of bits missing or not suitable to refit .
I also have a massive workload at the moment because of the nature of my job, giving me very little spare time to work on it.
As such i have decided to offer up my place on the tour for somebody else.I think it would be selfish to accept a place with only a 60% chance of attending and knowing how much this tour means to others.I would rather bale out now rather than let the organisers down nearer the time if i can't get it finished.It really makes me sad saying this as the lakes was a target for me at the start of the restoration and i was really looking forward to having the craic over the weekend.....Maybe next year.......

Many thanks to you for entering the 2012 Lakes tour, twelve spaces left as of tonight the link will be shut down tomorrow evening even if the spaces have not been sold, as i have others that would like a run that have no pc access and for some invited guests of {OTHER MAKES OF CARS} that will be none ford .
We have an interesting tour in the making for 2012 I will not be draw into letting you all know at this stage as just where the tour will be going but trust me you will not be disappointed .

I have noticed that not that many have booked camping this year, and did wonder if you had all manage to get accommodation somewhere around the Heaves as the socialising at the heaves in the evening has become a big part of the tour week end . This year will be no exception we have a guest speaker Mr G Robson who will give a talk on the works escorts, as you all know Graham has wrote numerous books on this subject over the years and has a vast knowledge of the 60s 70s and 80s Rally cars.
There will also be a raffle and hopefully an auction with some very nice bits and pieces that get donated from parts manufacturers and traders that are supporting the Lakes tour this year.
And not forgetting the after tour buffet which will be in the hotel served to you on your return to the heaves.
This year it’s all about works cars, rally cars and rep rally cars there will be a display set up in fount of the hotel on Sunday if you would like to be in this display please drop me a pm. this display will be sponsored by North West RS Centre who has very kindly put up a package of awards for 1st 2ndand 3rd.

I will have transport to ferry you to and from the Heaves on Saturday evening so no worries about driking and driving
