My Dad got done doing 35 in a 30 zone,,, had to attend a speed awareness course and said it was a load of tosh ,, just another way od screwing money out of motorists,,, He:s 80

I see it as a bloody scam to rob ya. I had a customer in today just had the side of his L200 smashed into by a disqualified uninsured foreign driver and has to claim off his own insurance and to top it off he got the bollocking from the cops. Bloody joke if you ask me.

pay the fine and do the course its a no brainer.ita a driver awareness course which is written on a big board .we had handsets and after a couple of short films questions were asked and you pressed a,b,c or d whichever you thought. one bloke even got the course name wrong.
the chap next to me just made the start,he said he had been speeding to get there on time.All joking aside it opened my eyes about a few things and was surprized when each person hade to rate themselves out of 10 as a driver,75% were 5 and under and 50% when asked said they didnt like driving! btw i got a parking fine because the warden couldnt see the expiry time on my ticket.a pleading letter and i got away with it
