Bob has apparently passed away after a long illness.

A true Gent in every sense of the word.

He was very good friend, a man who knew all about all Escorts, and was involved with RS models up to the end of his career in the late 1990s. If any of us wanted to know the facts - as opposed to the legends - about RS models, we had to ask Bob.

Now we will never get to know the full story of the RS200, with which he was so intimately linked.

How sad.

Bob was a great chap and very down to earth and lovely to speak to. he was a great help to me and in turn to the RSOC in the late 1980's / Early 1990's and we continued to keep in touch. Bob attended many a RSOC national day, usually discreetly but always interested in the cars and owners.

Rest in peace Bob
