I took the afternoon off work and head for Buxton to look at this Mk1 escort, originally was going to look Wednesday a day early but could'nt wait.
Full bare shell rebuild in 2009 by Darren & Ian at whitspeed with a full photgraphic documentation of the build.
VERY solid car with 5 link & Gaz coilovers.
Well how could i resist and now it's mine well happy.
5 mins pulled into a petrol station for fuel 3 guys got chatting Love the car mate 20 mins later started my jouney home.
I am amazed at how so many people stop, stair and point with a nod of the head.
Here's some pics i took, not very good as i had to get on with clearing my garage.

I had to sell my Porsche 911 Turbo to get both these cars, but i was well worth it.
I'll look farward to the forum as i have some plans for the car and all the advise would be VERY useful not messed with cars for over 20 years.
