  • lakes tour shake down @ nurburg

    sick of my cars givin me hassle on the lakes tour so iam givin a pre lakes warm up, round the ring ,,,anyone fancy it ,, theres a few of us goin. it will be from hull 19th april for a few days,, i thinks its about £300 return for a car and 4 passengers,,, back on the 25th so still time to put a fresh motor in when she goes pop

      Good lad,I went there a couple of times in 2010 in my escort was a riot.drove it there and back and a trackday at spa so no trailer queen.

              yes just ferry,, i think digs cost us £200 a pair,, so cost per person for us worked out about £175

                **** me, wonder why the ferry is so expensive then? Think when me and Pig went we only paid about £75, but that was from Dover to Calais, and its a shorter crossing, but still!!!

                  its an 18 hour overnight crossing and you have 4 berth cabin ,, nice n comfy,, get smashed on the ferry both ways kick 10 bells out of the car round the ring,, good weekend

                    Be carefull on the Ring now as i think they're charging £200 for a tow off the circuit and £2000 if you damage a barrier .

                      Nay problem in a MkII then, they fold up as soon as anything solid gets in their way

                      I might be able to pop down, not sure in what as yet, unlikely to be the RS though, might be a MkII nevertheless though. I'll be interested to see know if you folks do make it.

                          They have been for ages Gaz!
                          Minimum cost of 250 euros when we was there!!

                          You wouldn't want to be the one who caused them to shut the track!!!!!
