Viewed and struck a deal today on a MK1 XR2 , same family owned since day one, uncle from new and niece for the last four years . Only 57k from new , very heavily waxoiled everywhere. Its black , still got original spots ,radio and even the sunroof bag in the boot. Needs small amount of TLC but will make a lovely little Summer car for her in doors. Will post a couple of pics when I pic it up later this week.

Gents,
promise not to bore you with too much Fiesta chat but I cannot believe how good this little car is . Been all over it since getting it home and it is unbelievably original. Engine bay has all the right clips etc no internal mods , think I'll take it off the wife and buy her something else. Concours XR me thinks !! Bumpers are worst part , back one is wrong and front one needs a couple of end caps.

yum paul very nice, i had about 4 of them in all me years.
great cars and i have been sayin for ages now that i think these will be the next big thing, as the prices of escorts keeps going up people will be pricded out of the market and so look to other classic fords i.e fiestas, mk3 xr3's and early 2.8 capris etc
