What about noise regs , are we allowed too make any or do we get chucked off for having race engines ?

A proper "comfy" is a normal car without any weight saving . So full factory style interior , steel panels , glass windows , bumpers , etc etc (no bits missing) .
All the track cars are normally stripped out and ride around on trailers so no comparison .
sigpic 2.1 ATMO YB POWER .
Tick tock goes the clock and the clock don't lie .
12.4sec to 109mph With NO turbo , NO gay trailer , NO slicks , NO gas , NO race fuel and NO bits missing . Beat that !!!!

As i said earlier , i'm not bothered about doing shitty trackdays . If i wanted too race around on tracks then i'd have a battered shite heap covered in stickers that i didn't mind crashing . No point having a nice motor for track racing use in my opinion .

Weight saving?? Mines 50 kg heavier than standard mk1

Rick, we could throw a tow bar on the estate, trailer mine up there with it the use them both.. That'd surely make it comfy royalty

That's proper so I take my fully trimmed car fit 5 link kit , multipoint cage and the car weighs the same nice one

It will weigh more if it has no weight saving/bits missing and then you add more bits . Link bars weigh less than leaf springs though .

Well mine is full trimmed incl custom door panels, rear seat, full carpet

Only difference on interior is a roll cage and a pair of Sparco fat busted (Xl's) and Harnesses

Rear suspension is horse and cart spring

So mine must be classed a full fat comfy wagon !

An when my 10 st svelte body is in car it certainly aint no light weight !

Not sure if this is meant for me but i'll reply just in case .
As i've said twice already , i've not got a drag race car . I built a normal Escort road car that runs 12sec 1/4 miles at 109mph for fun on a set of 175mm wide road tyres .
If i had built a competiton car then it would weigh 150 kilos less (with half the car missing) so it would be faster at motorsport events .
I like road cars with heaters etc though so that's what i built . It still goes alright though .
