restorations of mk1/2 rs cars

is it me or am I missing something, I dont see any of them being restored on many of the forums Im on.....there are very few mk1/2 RS cars being showed on progress of restos....if there is any are they staying standard or going down the rally route????

i dont think that many are interested anymore in standard stuff, has to be heavily modded , foreign engine etc. mags dont really help .only my opinion by the way.

Maybe they are all restored by now or sitting as spare shells for rally cars.

Have an Aussie 2 door RS 2000 in my garage and will definately be restored to standard. The car is still on the original engine with no mods and while it's not the best car in OZ it will be OK when done.

so thats why your selling all the ford stuff....are you not to big to get into any of them little cars

i mean the cars that are on here being restored are at it a year or so (no offence as perfection takes time) and some are just outstanding condition but id like to see new ones

Mines been in the body shop over a year now LOL still not painted

mine was about 14 months I think for the paint job

theres no rush I've got a mk1 mexico resto somewhere I think
