  • My old Mk2 Mexico in Ireland??

I owned this car back in 1993.

When I sold her, she was passed about locally for a few months before vanishing.

    Fast foward to 2003-ish
I was watching the Irish rally championship on Men & Motors, and there she was being thrashed through the forests. Now sporting forest arches & painted dark-ish blue. She also picked up a side swiped rear quarter behind the n/s rear wheel

I've tried to find the Irish equivelent to our DVLA to see if she's still registered + up & running

    Anyone offer any clues????

Some way or another most mk2's end up as RS1800's

Don't know the car off the top of my head. Any more details you noticed about it? Was it a forestry or a tarmac rally?
