was watching the poffesionals yesterday, was wondering what type of sunroof was in that car, was it a factory fited one. is that car also still on the go

i think one of frostys mates owns the car and is currently being restored once read it had the big sunroof fitted to let more light in when filming because of the black trim

spoke to a guy who fitted this roof and all the other mods to the ford cars at the time, like the dummy phones in the cars, granadas etc, he was something to to do with fords press and publicity at the time. He was at AVO national day last year, and i wish i took his number now he told some great stories

I watched the back to back programs over the past day or 2 and they made my Christmas. Loved every one of them

I also noticed the sliding sunroof and also I have heard the reason being about letting more light into the car.

I also noticed the BVR on the A pillars were the same as mine (only came down the pillar an inch or two). I was always led to believe that factory fitted BVR's were down all the way to the bottom ?

Another thing........Roll Top seats ?.......were they on T Reg cars ?.......my memory is going

the roll tops were on the cars untill the 'custom' came out, were fishnets then, iirc.

The car was an R reg Aled, FORD lettering on the boot etc. All the Proffesionals cars were on made up Reg's.

PNO672R is the original Reg.

loved the bit at 1.59 when they reverse away and the AtoZ falls from the dash board ............. looks as if they wanna have a right laugh about it, but don't ................... true professionals
