NOS parts from Ford Dealers

So is it worth asking the question at Ford Dealers for spares for escorts or has all this stock been exhausted many years ago???If so what sort of things are available? I know that with my old 70's kawasaki's some parts are still available from the dealers yet people are still selling these same parts on ebay for inflated prices.

First you need to find a Ford dealer that even knows what a MK1 or 2 Escort is.

Hard enough getting bits for nearly new cars from some dealers lol

the current ford parts system doesnt list mk1/2 escort so unless its an old parts guys they wont know what there looking for.

you can still get some bits from ford that were fitted to mk1/2 escorts,there mainly mechanical parts, a fair bit of the nos clips etc on ebay have parts stickers on there from 2011

be hard to find as most traders buy most of the hard to find parts to sell on for a decent profit.

takes a lot of time to find these parts though.

Cleared out Hewitts years ago. Some bits on eBay sell for stupid prices. Complete light units were £25.00!, Switches MKI £7
