Time for a New Colour!!

I really like my BMW X5 but I'm not a great fan of Black cars. Rather than sell it and lose a fortune changing for a different model I decided to get it Vinyl Wrapped.

I went for Vermillion Red (or very close to it) which was available on the X6 but not on the X5 until very recently.

The great thing is not only is it cheaper than changing car, but if I decide to remove the wrap the paintwork underneath is in perfect condition

It took them 2 days to strip the car, wrap all the panels, handles etc. and put it back together

should of done it white as white is the new black

Had White before on my Audi A4 and it always looked dirty even after a 5 minute drive, especially in the wet

The red seems to hide the dirt better

know what you mean got a white golf gti and it looks lovely when clean but the local polish botys make a good job of cleaning it once aweek

Did you have to send your log book off to inform the DVLA of the colour change or doesn't it matter as it's 'temporary'?

At least the X5 is marginally less ugly than the X6 and red seems to help too.

You don't have to, but you are probably more likely to be stopped by the Police as the colour will not match their records!!

Will make sure I haven't had a drink and that the tyres etc. are all well above minimum levels

We have a black golf wrapped white with carbon wrapped roof in at work at the mo for a full side.that should be interesting to get off to repair it all
