I have just sold my Toyota Starlet class 3 Autograss car and have decided to put the money towards a Perfect Escort mk2 RS2000, I need your help as i have several escorts but i now want the real thing! I have not been brought up i have been dragged up and it as made me want perfection! The car i am looking for must be out of this world and be something that i can look at and think "well i never thought i would own that!" If you had the money to buy the best Escort mk2 RS 2000 out there what car would it be and who owns it and would he or she sell it?? I have sacrificed some old vintage items that i have had for years so i think i am ready and have the funds to get my dream car! How much would i expect to pay for perfection? I realy do not know many people who can steer me in the rite direction so i have turned to the members on here as i have read alot of comments and i respect your judgment! Please do not pull peoples cars down as that is not what i want! I just want your help to get the car that i am looking for! Thanks, Phil.

Hi Louie and thanks for your quick reply! If you go on to Autograss Review site and go to galleries and then go to the NEC 2011 pictures you will see my "now sold" Toyota Starlet! The car i am looking for must be completed and be perfect in every way! I do not have the time to restore one and further more i do not think i could manage to perfect a car as good as some of you guys! When you see the pictures of the Starlet you will see just how fussy i am!!

imo there will never be a perfect car as there are to many people who will be out there to pick fault...and will, because of peoples interpretation of whats right
the perfect car is how it came out of the factory....and then think of all the faults it had back then....then recreate that
good luck with the project

Woooo, the yellow Rs on Pistonheads !!!! looks like you will not get better than that one, but have to come up with some serious money.
Good luck on the hunt,if you get lucky before May, try coming along to the Lakes tour as you will never see so many Mk2 Rs cars altogether doing what they do best (oh and a few mk1s)
Regards,
Mark H
