We have to pay a minimum of £68 +vat for our waste disposal. That's for upto 500kg. Then it's about £80 / ton. They changed from just weight to the minimum charge about 18 moths ago, which coincided with the tips refurb , read into that what you want. Their excuse was "it keeps cars/vans of the road near the tips, helping the enviroment", i sh 1t, you not! We have now found a local skip firm , who charge 120 per ton inc vat, with no minimum!
