I had one after wanting one for years...couldnt shake the sensation of sitting in a mk4 1.4LX. They do drive well but are certainly no mk 1/2 escort in the driver involvement stakes. Probably a good invesment tho.Comment

Real nice cars and I do like em in white, would be great power although could be laggy depending on turbo and ex housing...I hated the lag on my saph!...Its up to you mate but the grin factor and feeling you get of an auld escort always does it for me...

Had a Escort COSWORTH a S1 turbo , RS16i, mk2RS2, mk2 Mex
All at the same time and the Escort COSWORTH was a fine car but
did not have the " smile factor " of a MK2 was to quite had power steering
and was not " seat of your pants driving" more so in the wet !!! Now have two
