great photo there kev , that is a great photo . you dont see many of the cars at the dealers , and to catch the moment . if you look at the quality of the suits and trained mechanics the way they look so smart . nothing like todays young lads wet behind the ears and white training shoes on . love it !. thanks for sharing .

Sometimes called the "Minder" kit after it's appearance in the opening titles on Arfurs used car lot.

My one, has the Ford Ovals impressed in the panels.

Just bringing this thread back to life, for no other reason than I really like the "X-Pack, Zakspeed, box arched look" and have been doing a bit of googling to see what the art of the possible is. This car is the "dog's danglies".

Most people seem to have the round arch extensions but I prefer this look, and I know now that Ford had at least one car in this configuration on the 76 Monte.

My rally car has a bit of tin worm and/ or filler in the arches from previous owners and the car, overall, is scruffy - I know that this will need looking at in the future so I thought I'd look at the options. Kits still seem to be available, but are much more expensive than the round arch ones. Not good if you bang them into the scenery!
