ive just done 2 years in euro asia, got a job lined up in the mines in oz, living in perth and fly in fly out to the mines

Some nice places to live North and South of the river and as your on the mines I'm assuming distance is not an issue? The far Northern suburbs are still expanding and you can you pick up acre blocks for a reasonable price. If your thinking of settling for the kids suburbs like Leeming Willetton Rosmoyne Bull Creek and Bateman (south of the river) will get you in the catchment area for the good schools.

Finally hope you don't mind flies, poo loads of them up north. Little buggers get everywhere and I swear they like the taste of fly repellent
