AS above really...if you had an RS2000 that is unbelievably mint but will need freshening up ( been in a garage for 24 years!!) would you lose money/respect for the car by fitting an x-pack when you gave it a repaint?
Saw this x-pack the other day:
and can't help thinking that an un-arched RS2000 could never look quite as good as an x-pack in mint condition.
And seeing as x-packs are never labelled on the logbook as x-packs (or are they?) you wouldn't be able to tell that it wasn't original and had been fitted at a later date.
A mint x-pack has got to be rarer/worth more than a standard un-arched rs2000 in the same condition wouldn't you say.
What's people's opinions...
