  • Black Mexico almost on the road

    I went and had a look at my friend Geoff's black Mexico which is nearly now complete. Here are some piccies, sorry they aren't very good, there appears to have been some dirt on the lens. Take it from me, the car is stunning :

      did he fire the old girl up while u was there and have they sent the new seals through for his brakes now mate???

          looks great, not too sure about all the blue though!!!! is he putting the decals back on? if so, what colour? (not blue though, please) :bom:

                agree with Kev..the car looks great but too much blue especially the axle.
                the silver decals will really set it off..and 4 cibies of course!

                    CheeRs for the possitive feedback. its been 2 1/2 years of work. Hope to meet you all at the shows in the summer. I'm off to run the engine in, 500 miles below 4000rpm, that ain't gonna be easy!!!!! Keep it sideways

                      what spec is the engine mate?...looks a bit of a beast

                        2 litre bottom end. full lighten and balance inc flywheel thats well thin. arp bolts vandervel bearings. SP big valve head, can't remember exact sizes but theyre big! HT1 cam, 48s with hand made trumpets, aldon dizzy. should be good for 180 horse once its run in.
