At 42 I am faced with an op which will mean I become infertile, my prostate is not good and I have lumps in my plumbing which should not be their and as my grandfather died of prostate cancer I'm not taking any chances. The doc has told me to go ahead but I should store some sperm in the freezer. On the up side it should mean I'll live longer

I'm sure we have all been touched by cancer one way or another....but day by day new treatments are out to fight cancer.....Lets be positive together for those who are fighting it and those who are now free from it, and also to all us who will suffer it in the future.
If anyone can stand needles, please give blood. I know its not for everyone but for me it helps me knowing my blood may help save a life........
Best wishes to the fighters suffering cancer at the moment. Please be strong...Steve

It's an absolute bugger.
Lost a friend 10 yrs ago when he was 30.
It's just not right.
Thankfully many do survive and live good long lives.
My wee sis works in Cancer research, left a top London firm to do so.
They hopefully, with our help, will find a cure. We're not Brazil, we're Northern Ireland

Big C
I have a PSA test every 6 months, one in the Uk and one in Spain on my winter vacation, simply because they check about 50 items and give me the full print out. This show what reading should be,and what mine are.Prostate cancer is known as the silent killer, all guys over 50 should ask,or even demand a PSA test, often.
