LAR is now going into semi retirement until 2013. Won all five of the regionals I attended to get the gold cup with maximum of 40 points and to top it off won National Day for the second year in a row. Think both me and the car deserve a rest now

Next year LAR won't come out but I shall still come the shows in my mex and bring my boy as he keeps asking to come.

Been a successful year for me and after a lot of hard work I achieved all that I set out to.

Just want to say big thanks to Johnny Peatman and Kev Frost for encouraging me to enter last year and all the help/advice along the way, boys

Also thanks to the 2 bda boys for there advice and top crack we had this year

sorry to hear that chez,well spose my pics wont be ruined with your car in the background now .joking aside we have had a crack with you,and both of us have seen the improvements to lar throughout the season .you took on board advice given and the results reflected this. concours isnt for everyone and unless youve been in it you dont realise the commitment and behind the scenes effort just to get the car there,let alone the preparation on the day! well done son for flying the flag with one of those pointy mk2s with top results you should be proud. cheers southampton flyers aka bda boys

Very true Kev, takes alot of effort and commitment for sure.
I just fancy a year off so I can bring my lad next year and chill out a bit.
Intend to come back the following year all being well. I've neglected the mex a bit this year so will spend a bit of time on her ready for next years sunshine and lakes tour.
