      Get yourself back on son , it picking back up and the skip is due to come on on the sidebands , other than that get the 148gtl dx on eBay , they go for top money now days , good ones boxed fetching £300 and run of the mill rigs £150-£200

          Mine is all boxed with the original manuals etc. Would need to make sure it still worked before I could sell it , may fry itself when I turn it on after such a long time LOL
          Used to have a 6 element Quad on top of a telegraph pole
          Could bleed over TV's 3 miles away when we had the Burner on

                      Sold it all in the late 80's son. Was a Hi Gain 5 or "V" as it was known. Avanti Sigma 4 kept on snapping at the bottom in high winds Great 27 long thing on a 40ft pair of scaffold poles strapped to our shed with guide ropes LOL
                      Was a little sod on it as I used to Sideband all over people I didn't like Could also switch the neighbours video on and off when I keyed the mike. PMSL

                          my god what are you lot like, we have moved on and now got mobile ****ing phones, go to carphone warehouse and get with the 21 st century you bloody 80's throwbacks. next thing you'll be driving old cars
