I was approached at a show by a guy wanting to do a feature on my car for a classic car magazine, I agreed warily having gone under the pen in the past.

The writer visited my home a few days later and seemed oblivious to simple technical items of a motor vehicle, I was not impressed.

Photographs were taken and I was told I would see a draft copy.

This arrived today, absolute shite, full of inaccuricies and making two years of hard graft sound like a ten minute botch job, the photos weren't much better.

Afraid it will be getting returned with a letter saying DO NOT feature my car.

These mags have too many journalists that wouldn't know which end of the spanner to hold,I should have learned from past experience.

Best write up for my car is in the resto section on this site

Lewis was promissed a write up with his car some time ago (Lakes Tour), made two phone calls to the publishers who were going to arrange a date,
nothing never happened...he is/was gutted not to get a feature, not good for a young lad being let down and getting his hopes up

Martyn Morgan Jones and John Colley are both very professional and certainly know their cars

probably why they never contacted you about the BL Monster
