Strut Top Stamping

I have got The green RS n the bodyshop at the minute and as it has had new inner wings fitted the vin number needs to be re stamped, I did see some top plates on ebay with the number stamped on and the stars at either end for a mk2 but cant find any now!!
Has anyone else had this issue and if so who do you recomend to use?

The problem with new inners is that if you try and stamp the top plate in situ it will distort the double skin. We are having to remove the top plate and get one done to weld back on.

Graeme, make sure you use the top plate that is coming of the newly fitted inner wing, respot the plate back on real close to the drilled spot weld holes then plug weld the holes after respotting
