I saw this car many times back in the day at Doune hillclimb and
at Strathclyde park sprint,It was an awsome sight as it launched
itself off the start line slewing sideways,as the tyres fought for
grip leaving two nice black lines as it went on its merry way.
I,t was almost unbeatable in its class in the hands of
Bob Sutherland and then a lad Macintyre
This was the car that got me hooked, my first car was a chevette
and i,ve always hankered for another could never find a good
HS when I had the money and stupidly let an HSR slip through
my grasp about 15 years ago for the sake of £100.00
all the best with HSR mind and post some pics when
its finished .......
