Not much selling at the mo, my inlaws are trying to sell a caravan and a Nissan X-trail for a few months now, altho I ear the X-trail finally sold yesterday.

Nope, I am going to hold out. If it doesn't sell then I am not too bothered as I love the car. I will just buy roof bars etc. The car books at trade to sell at 10,500 I think I am being sensible asking 9,500

On the X5 ,I know I have been pushing the virtues of getting one and singing the praises however I have just shelled out £2k for a new Gearbox for the wifes as it shat itself the other weekend with no prior warning ,apparenly it had already had a refured one fitted as well so its on its 3rd box in 80k miles.
Bloke at the Garage ( in Newark ) says the average is about 50k for an x5 box so bear it in mind when you are looking.
Still a great car though ,it just means she will be keeping it for alot longer now and not getting a newer model

Yes nothing's selling at present except collectors type cars . Wifey's car is very nice and it's cheap but we've had no viewings since the advert came out . Had a few bell ends on the phone though .

As I am trying to sell my BMW why oh why does it attract so many :winka: and
Just yesterday, Had 2 no shows. Wasted a who;e day when I could have been out with my family. No phone call to say why or anything! Really getting fed up also with complete tw4ts offering crap part X's and complete fools thinking they can get the car for 7k or whatever!
Loads of scams being touted around as well!!!!!!!!

I have never in my life had so many timewasters when trying to sell a car.
9 times out of 10 though the timewasters are of foreign origin. Just makes me wary now when one rings up..........

Morel of the story = New cars are shite and nobody whats them unless they are £3000 under priced !!! Meanwhile an RS2000 with loads of rust is £7000.
