On Sunday the Leicestershire RSOC Group (which is run by Phil Teaar and myself) have our annual regional day at Stanford Hall near Lutterworth, Leicestershire. I would like to invite all of you to the day and hope to see a bumper turnout of MK11 RS's. Me and Phil are both MK11 enthusiasts through and through - as many of you will know, so it would be great to see you all.

Will be bringing the Mex with it either still missing or running properly. Was so upset at not being able to go to Cumbria in her so I'm definitely taking her to Stanford.

kev i had a problem today with a misfire and i found what it was number one spark plug was wet after driving it for 6m i cleared itself and all is fine now....have a look at yours as i might just be that...???

Number 1 plug was a little dirty. but I've now had 3 sets of plugs in and all do the same.

Is it under load, same rpm ?

Hi there Steve. Missfire is under load. Gone back to a oints type ignition at the mo. (Was using an Ignitor) but problem still there. Have gone through absolutely everything I can think of but the problem still persists. Have just fitted a filter king set to 3psi and re-piped the fuel system. Running twin 40 dellorto's on a standard spec head with a Kent FR33 cam+Vernier. All timing is correct. have flushed my oil system as I thought it could have been the odd ring or 2 sticking. Really don't know what to try next???????????????????????????????? Think the pressure in the fuel is ok as the glass bowl is full of petrol all the time. Running a Facet fast road leccy pump kit as well.
