I thought some people had lower mk2's by 3" at the back, And i'm sure it was at last years rs owners national day I saw a mk 2 with 2" blocks and some shims under then that would probably have dropped it by a further 1/2" don't know if this is common practice or not.
    Cheers

        Its not too tight !

You must have a "plater" diff fitted !

I always say "ATB for the road and Plater for the track"

Hence I sold my perfectly good ATB for a noisy clicky plater type.

anything off it worth keeping? looks like its had a bad life, looks a bit too far gone to do anything with TBH.

seriously, thats one tasty mk2! just need the read bringing level with the front (did some one say 3" lowering blocks (lol)?) and you got a well sorted motor

No I didn't say 3" lowering blocks, I said I thought it possible to lower it by 3" I know the largest blocks are 2" but I have seen some with shims under to lower it greater than 2" just not sure wether this is good practice
