Is gonna cost me a small fortune.
This year I brought along my wife because my mate couldnt make it as my co pilot,well now it looks like i have to go and buy another Escort of some description for her
.
We both thoroughly enjoyed it and met some wonderful people , she has never really been too into my cars that much and stopped attending shows with me a few years ago as they were "boring seeing the same stuff all the time".
The lakes has completely turned her around and i am currently looking for something like a mk2 ghia 4dr for her and the kids to come along in next year, she wants a mk1 XR2 "like her old one" but i told her it aint happening cos its wrong wheel drive
All said and done though I would like to thank Oggie for organising another cracking tour, GJ for sorting the very special M sport tour, Miles for putting up with us all again, and all the lads and lasses in the 'Essex to55ers' group for just being there and being great company as usuall, Andy C for not being anywhere as scarey a i though he was gonna be when i started chatting to him, AND all the others that i know were involved in organising their bit of it all, and mostly EVERYBODY for just bringing along the best collection of old Escorts in the world i would think

Best i start counting out my penny jar then.
