We've all got 2 stroke bikes with Castrol TTS oil in them . Smells the same as castrol R40 plus you can whack that in your fuel tank if required as it will mix properly .
sigpic 2.1 ATMO YB POWER .
Tick tock goes the clock and the clock don't lie .
12.4sec to 109mph With NO turbo , NO gay trailer , NO slicks , NO gas , NO race fuel and NO bits missing . Beat that !!!!

Will that be better to tip in the fuel than R40 then ??

if you need a fix of R, the Classic twinshock Moto-cross on 2-3rd july at Farleigh Castle is coming up, the air will be thick of the stuff!

just rebuilding the engine in '74 CCM for it!!!!

Yes because TTS is proper 2 stroke oil designed to mix with petrol where as R40 is engine oil .

Tried it but don't do it it gums up your engine, as tempting as the nice smell might be, it puts a horrible layer of gunge around your valves.

Been there, done that, in the fuel tank by the way.

You can probably get rid of it without taking your head off using BG44K.

When I take some of the engines apart, the ones run on castrol R are
always really good, bearings like new.
Compared to some very expensive modern oils.
