I made it home by 10pmlast night after a race to stranraer
I had a call from Gerard saying he was in the queue to get on the boat which was leaving at 19:35 and this was at 18:37 I was still 33 miles from it on the A75 toddling along at 60mph, as I thought I was still destined for the midnight boat he said you have 30 minutes t get here, so off went the phone and a 100mph dash started, and if you know that road its not a great road at all. but made it at 19:08 and the security staff said I could not get on as it was bunged but I could check with the booking office, I had to turn the car round back out onto the main road got there and she hummed and harred went into the office and came back yes I could get on hooray. and then I ran out of petrol waiting to get on the boat, luckily had a gallon in the boot
That over with
As my first RS show in the UK, I have to say it was well worth all the journey, scene was really nice at the heaves, loads of great looking cars, and best of all meeting all the faces that go with the BB names, and numerous phone calls too
Sat night was a good laugh with Kev, Gaz, Vinny, Dave ( who I can comfirm is a horrendous snorer ) a few libations where consumed bunk down about 1:30 ish, the 3am Kev went for a gypsies and decided to pull the tent down on us !!
Sun at the show,
