CAMPING AT THE HEAVES HOTEL 2011

There’s going to be a lot of people camping at the hotel on Friday and more on Saturday night, so I think it only right to have few ground rules:-

    1. Please keep the camping area tidy – bin bags will be provided
!!! NO OPEN CAMPFIRES!!! Camp fires will not be tolerated.

    2. Anyone found to be doing donuts or spinning wheels unnecessary will be asked to leave - it will not be tolerated.

    3. No loud music.

    4. No disposable BBQ’s on the grass - we don’t want it looking like a patchwork quilt come Sunday night.

    5. Showers will be available - please leave them clean after you have used them. There will be two shower blocks; 1 male, 1 female
This year we have hired a self contained toilet block with wash basins
Please try to use these instead of the hotel as much as possibly.

    6. All trailers must be parked in the designated area {bottom end of the public car park} the gate will be locked late Friday night.

    7. All tents MUST!! Be down and packed away by 8.00am on Sunday.

8 No refuelling of cars in the hotel grounds.

9 Camping is only available for LAKES TOUR PARTICIPANTS only.

10 The Lakes Tour 2011 is a none spectator event.

    ## No caravan’s or motor homes unless pre booked ##

No unnecessary revving of engines or spinning of wheels anyone found driving in a dangerous manor in the hotel grounds will be told to leave; the speed limit in the hotel grounds is 3mph max.

There will be a security guard on the gate Friday and Saturday night if you go out of the grounds with your car after 7.00 pm please make sure you let him know so he can let you back in.

Please remember Miles Whitlock and family are very good to us, we are very lucky to have this venue as not many places would put up with camping on such a scale, so please do not abuse their hospitality or let the organisers down.

Thank you for entering the Lakes Tour 2011.

Just before we all turn up at Heaves on Friday one small gripe from me
Over the years we have turned a blind eye to the bottles of drink being brought in to the Hotel on Friday and Saturday Nights, but last year Many of you openly brought your own drink into the bar( even CASES !!), THIS MUST STOP!!! ,
We do not think we charge excessively over the bar for our drinks.
However what you consume outside is OK by me. but please do not abuse our hospitality
      THANK YOU
      MILES
