Lakes '11'
Well it is getting closer to the lakes tour 2011 event, frosty the weather man has already predicted what the weather has in store for us but he has been proved wrong in the past and probably will be again well we can hope.
We will be at the Heaves on the Friday to sort out the camping arrangements it’s going to be tight but we will get you all in. but can you all remember please that the tents on the lawns must be removed early on Sunday .
Showers will be provided and there will also be a trailer loo with wash basins with hot and cold running water.
The tour
Signing on for the tour will be on Friday evening 5pm to 7pm and Saturday morning from 7.30 am you will be able to collect your polo shirts and jackets that you have pre ordered then as well, there will be a limited number of LAKES ‘11’ tee shirts available.
The Lakes tour 2011 will start from 9.00 am once the 00 car has gone , there’s no planned stop till 11.30 am this year as the tour will all regroup at the first stop and be there for lunch , lunch is all included in the tour entry for the driver only all passengers will have to pay for there lunch. I am not giving anything away about the lunch stop but you must read the road book this year as there’s a lot of instructions that must be obeyed but it’s all in the road book so READ IT this year.
A lot of work has gone into this year’s tour that will become apparent throughout the day, the tour will run though a lot of small villages towns and hamlets please be aware of you speed at all times there will be 4 judges of fact out on the tour keeping an eye on the driving, lets not see a repeat of last year cars going off the road, I keep saying this but I must stress it’s A TOUR NOT A RACE OR A RALLY if you have something to prove go and do a track day. Do not let your ambition out way your talent you have been warned.
