Heard a bit of a commotion while I was tidying up the lawn, thought nothing of it until I walked down the side of the house to see an impressive site, the Sparrow hawk had taken out the pigeon. I startled it, but I knew it would be back.

had a funny time yesterday lunchtime going into a country pub - walking to the door we were met by the pubs cat with a lifeless bunny rabbit in its mouth which it promptly left on the doorstep

Andrea didnt know what to have for lunch, so my suggestion of freshly made rabbit pie was not too appreciated !!!!!!!

Great pictures there,I used to race pigeons up until a few years ago sparrow hawks were bit of a pain but peringes were the real ba****ds.
