First drive of the year!

Taxed the escort yesterday, had a lovley afternoon up here so managed a steady 50 miles to bed it back in after being stood for 6 months. Saw a few other classics out but no escorts. Fingers crossed the weather holds then i can go out tomorrow and take some photos.

Taxed the mk1 and took it out today. Fouled plugs, misfiring, tracking out 'cos I replaced front suspension and didn't do it..
Still great though.

I'd also forgotten about all the blokes who come up to you in petrol stations and the high street to tell you that they used to have one. They must have built a few million RS's for all those people to have owned 'em.

Also had a p*ssed up bloke telling me he had 'one of them droopsnoot Mexicos with 6 thingy dash'

I know exactly what you mean! The bloke in the petrol station this morning was telling me he had been brought up with mk2's! Always get people talking to me about the car wherever it goes.
