My lad just went 6p over drawn at his bank and the tw@ts give him a 25 pound fee for doing so and 25 pound for the letter to tell him they were doing so

No wonder they get big bonuses

Write 'em a letter threatening to take your custom away and that you're disgusted with being treated like that...and take your custom elsewhere after they say they will reconsider charging 50 quid for a 6 p "overdraft"

Similar thing happend to me a few months back, a payment went out before cleared funds, they charged me 67p, so i rang my account manager, kicked off, the short of it they refunded the 67p + a tenner for the stress caused, , i'd recomend the Hsbc any time

Any bank worth it's salt will refund that given the amount overdrawn.
It's all done by computer so get a human involved and you will be refunded I'm sure.
