First, if you can move it or borrow another garage until you beef up security do that.
Fit ram-raid posts behind the garage door, CCTV to record any break in, alarm the garage. If you have the room in the garage fit a second security door.
Buy a wheel clamp, remove steering wheel.
All you can do is make it as hard as poss to steel or slow them down.

Have seen ground anchors sunk into garage floors and chains used to chain a car to the floor to help stop a car been lifted.

Shoot the theiving F**K**G C*N*S, I have a baseball bat and pepper spray by my bed after scumbags attempted a break in whilst I was overseas a few years back (luckily the garage was armed so they shot off as soon as the alarm went off, but my wife was at home and she was spooked) and if I get jailed or fined for protecting my family or property well so be it. I really cannot understand why people feel justified to steal other peoples property, if I had my way as a minimum I'd chop their bloody hands off.

A good quality covert CCTV system that works in low light levels. Will cost around £1000 fitted with 3 cameras.

Have the cameras covering all directions needed and you may not stop the theft but you will get the culprits.

Also a Ram Post fitted inside the garage door so it is only seen when the door is open.

Good luck and hopefully it will never be needed
        Cheers

If you know who the people are then get a few of your burly mates and pay them a visit one ( the are not so tough when alone ) and have a word with them,,,but dont leave to many marks on the face.

I had a simmilar experence once and it is amazing how you and a lengh of iron bar can make them understand the situation

I hate to say it...but possibly NOT discussing your security features (or lack of them...), garage location, times of non-residence, and alerting would-be thieves as to what to bring with them (such as wheels...)...on an open forum viewable by up to 4.5 billion people might be a good start.

Apologies if this sounds negative, but you've just given away a good few pointers to the vermin that trawl these forums looking for cars to steal.

agree with al,pay them a visit,or get some big ugly blokes too, before they pay you one! and let them know what will happen if your car goes missing.my mate had is saph cos nicked,2 days later he had the blokes mobile number and gave his a very scary call.car was back next day.my brothers esc cos was down to be nicked a few years ago until they found out who he knew!! never got touched.
what i need is a high horse like the others have !

totally agree with the above statement.let them know that should anything happen to your car your response will be swift and brutal.

Sad state of affairs Davy , surely you can find out who they are and get it dealt with before it happens.

This is why I hate people just appearing at mine and the main reason the sport is away

stick this picture on the garage door with the words underneath

                          "look behind You"

seriously though, it is a concern, but maybe get some thick chain / motorbike lock and feed it through the wheel rim / around crossmember etc (make sure there is nothing in the garage they can use to cut it though)

at least this will be a huge 'bugger' factor and create some noise if they attempt to remove it

it is not possible to take the wheels off and put it on axle stands and also you could take a few bits out of the engine bay ... an alarm and doing those things should be a bit of a good trap
