Decent rolling roads down South ???

My favourite rolling road and tuners has shut down today so i need too find a new rolling road down South . Anyone recommend anywhere with a Dyno-dynamics set up please as i can't go back to "coastdown" bhp as i'll get an extra 40bhp just giving the car a wash !!!! lol

not sure how far you want to travel gaz but i use a guy called neil slark engineering, Mr simms who built my pinto recommended i go there, top man with plenty of time for set up and he does not take the pith with his prices, going down there again in april before the french tour to get the beige monster tweeked, car felt amazing driving home last time and she's not too shabby on the get up and go

i used sussex perfomance centre in horsham, they were pretty good, not sure if they are still going or changed their name or somfing??

are they shutting down cause the customers don't like the low figures they are getting Gaz ? as long as the engines spot on it's all that counts

Yep I agree, I would not care about power figures,
drive her up the road

Does it go well or not? To set it right you only need to load the engine up
so any dyno will do Gaz. Eg a bit of time a big hill and a high gear would do trick.

What you need is someone who understands how the carbs work and the right timing.
Not a posh dyno fella! (sod figures)

The new dynos are much better than the old shite though as you get comparable results run after run instead of an extra 5bhp cos the wind changed direction !!!
I'm not worried about big numbers as i'm used to the lower new numbers so just want too carry on where i left off .

Shut down due to recession and spiralling overheads . Always dead quiet from december until march but the bills keep rolling in especially with 8x members of staff etc etc . No point putting up prices as then you lose customers so the secret is to have low overheads (no staff , no rent , no rates etc)

Can'y see the point if using a rolling road/company with no real N/A cossy experience

My mate Chris does all the mapping on it so he'll be bringing his laptop and doing any tweaks if needed . I just need another Dyno-Dynamics rolling road to compare any mods we do to the last ones if that makes sense . If i go back to the old machines then i won't know if the new rebuild is working properly or not compared to the last engine .
