I have been trying for years to trace previous owners of my "imported" RS2000, they all hail from the kent area, but with names like Bert Flowers & Philip Richard Smith I am struggling.

I did get a result in finding UK owner number 4 who still lives in Romney Marsh, found him via facebook in the end and he did shed some light on the car, but I still want to know why the hell is was Bronze!!

It is fun finding out their history tho :-0

so if Anyone in kent knows the above 2 people let me know.

No, its not sad wanting to trace your car history, how long did it take the DVLA to respond, I sent my form and fiver off over a week ago and wondered how slow they were

If you want it, get it, before someone else beats you to it.

Thanx mate, quick for them i suppose, unless they are sending out fines, that usually takes a max of 2 weeks lmao.

My car was registered through Tri-Central cars and the first owner was easy to trace, won't give out any information though, confidential!!!

1st owner - The Ford Motor Company, Eaglesham Road, Brentford, owned car for just under a year.

As I tried to add to my earlier post at the time (but, as usual, was defeated by the intensely irritating cut off time for edits here), there was an awful lot of movement between dealers in the last couple of years of rwd RS Escorts. Many were supplied to the private customer by other dealers but would often have been registered (had to be to keep Ford off their necks?) by an RS dealer first.
