newbie to paypal and had just comfirmed my credit card on there but i cant see what having a credit card on there add or am i missin somthing? ive got my bank comfirmed so can transfer and bank money but what does having a cc add to it?

I think it means that if you don't have any money in your paypal account and there is insufficient funds in your bank account and you purchase something and pay for it through paypal then paypal take the money from your credit card. Thats what I thought it meant when I gave them my credit card details.

It's another way of them confirming who you are, and if your bank account details go tits up they can still take money off your credit card !

I've got mine linked to my bank account & debit card (from the same account) my bank stopped paypal having direct access to the account for some reason, so now if I buy anything with paypal and there's not enough funds to cover it - it comes off the debit card ! (In your case Credit card)

i had a credit card linked to it as the only access but changed it to just a bank account that i keep very little in just for paypal use , i can go online banking and top it up if need to with a savings account , i dnt like this modern internet too easy to fraud if you ask me
