For those that didn't know, there a branch of Lepson's in Swindon, not sure if it's new or not, but means its a lot nearer than Kent for some on here who need their alloys polishing.
Must be fairly recent? I remember taking my 4 spokes to their gillingham outfit a long time ago for they full treatment, took me 8 hours to make the return trip due to idiots crashing on the M25, the following week I went to collect them and it took me 7hrs45 minutes cos of more accident prone fools, Swindon would have been a nice alternative
MADE A VERY BAD HASH OF MINES LAST YEAR AND NOT A VERY GOOD JOB , AND THEY DONT PROVIDE A COURIOR, GOT TO GET THEM DELIVERED AND PICKED UP .
STILL NOT HAPPY WITH THEM

Been there over a year IIRC, I went there to ask them about diamond cutting.

Your wheels look great , but have you road tested them yet and let the back brake drums heat up ? And then take your alloys off again only to find them stuck on and the paint melted ? That's what happened with mine , and that was the paint supposedly baked on ,it turns out that they had run out of ford dove grey and were using the new water based paints with undercoat and they were not bonding together . Gary fomoco had his done the same week and I think he also had some kind of problems also . But maybe it was a one off who knows ? If you don't let people know then they don't know that there was any problems .
Did they not do yours again Alex for free?
I got the run around with them and gave up in the
end and had that set stripped and done all silver in the end.

If they do mate i will take them back for them to do them again.... fingerscrossed...
Yes they did them again for me but I had to send them down and get them uplifted at my exspense ! Only when I got them back to find that they masked them up on the inside and re painted.
What should have been done was a complete strip of paint and undercoat and re painted at around £65 per alloy x 5 it's not cheap , and being so far away you can't go round and talk the talk . But won't use them again .
Mk1 kid got my x pack alloys polished at £30 a wheel and a first class job was done in northern Ireland .
And sorry to bore ,tyres on and off twice and re balanced was another exspence including my time to jack up car take wheels off take to garage and back with fuel costs , so when you start adding up you can see why iam not happy with the work they did .
well they were two years ago when they did mine, went to kent had a chat about how i wanted them to look and they wernt affended went i took my own paint either
