Selling my bicycle on ebay must've been one of the most time consuming things I've done. Get flooded with a bunch of poorly written E-mails asking me all of these stupid questions. Mind you, almost none of the people asking these questions actually bid. Online timewasters

best tosser i ever had was in the very early 1990's had a white 3dr cossie advertised chap came to see it wanted a go in it but i wouldnt let him so took him out in it got back and he said he really wanted one but white wasnt his colour just then my mrs came home in a black 3dr cossie i said there you go then you can have the black one for the same price he humed and said to be honest it was a moonstone blue one he really wanted i said no problem opened the garage door and a blue one was in there he was gobsmacked looked at it and said right i will let you know this afternoon guess wot he never got in touch

i have been dealing with messers for 30 years now and it gets worse and worse there favourate saying on the phone is whats the least you will take

I usually follow that one up with 'what is the most you would pay ' good way to gauge (sometimes) if they are serious

You always have the option of wasting their time. When they ask how little you're willing to take, just say: "I'm not selling it anymore"
