insurance query

hi all

im 18, have no NCB's. but have pass pluss.

i have and own a mk2 escor 1600 sport, which the best quote i have is £3400 less 700 for Pass Plus. = £2700 per year fully comp!

there must be a cheaper way of insuraing this! (this includes mods of suspension, exhaust and steering wheel and other bits)

anyone reccomend a classica car place that likes 18 yr olds?
