andy, thought the new owner was on the osf site, im sure as a bb user he would understand the banter aimed at you,

appologise if i have caused any ill feeling towards you or the car, you know my thoughts on your NUB, its a good one and when you take it to the shows it gets the looks it deserves, its good example

If who ever was interested searched the forum for threads about NUB yes they would have found the pi$$ taking but they would have found countless others commending your hard work and how nice the car is. Serious buys will travel to have a look for themselves. It's not like I never had any pi$$ taking about my car that had a few gasket issues.

You only get the pi$$ takes cos everyone loves you. It's ****ed you sale up but should boost your ego

Banter went a bit daft occasionally, but it was all in good spirit, with remarks made to wind you up I reckon, not to trash the car ! It deserves a caring home, just like the one you have given it

It's a good car Andy and the banter was not aimed at knocking your car, just knocking you down a bit

Personally I feel it is a great car for someone to buy and has been put together with care and plenty of money/graft.

Repeating the same as has been said before : Get the car polished and get some new pictures up on a new thread with a full description of the car and see how quickly it is sold .... If you don't advertise you don't sell
                Cheers

So are you saying then that this sale fell through - http://bbs.rallyesportescorts.co.uk/...ad.php?t=51766 - or is this yet another pee take thread

If this is a "joke" pic how can you expect people to take your "Car for Sale" thread serious Andy when you pose for this pic knowing full well it will make its way onto the net ?

We all have issues / troubles with our cars but most of us are able to make the difference between general concerns and taking the pee

You must admit you are quick in jumping onto threads and "having fun with the thread originator" and that is why we like you so much as you do jump in with both feet and make yourself look a right c**k sometimes

The problem arises when you are trying to be serious and some of your "victims" have a little dig back it soon escalates into a run of the mill pee take thread

Personaly (and you have been told this by many others before) I suggest you sit down and write a serious advert and put this advert on Pistonheads / Ebay or similar - that way nobody can add pee take comments that in your words will f**k up your sale.

As for your car its an Escort, they break, so what ! That the joy of owning a Classic Car.

If the prospective buyer was put off by the stories of your troubles then they will be disapointed with any MKI or MKII they may eventually buy as they are all 30 odd years old now and were not built to last forever !

Has allreadybeen said in this thread mr corne , the extracting of your urine was aimed at you for the questions asked on the site and not NUB.
anyone genuinely wanting to own it would be viewing it for themselfs to make up there own minds .
have seen this car time and time again and i have allways said simply stunning and defo stands out in the crowd.
Excepting teething problems are all part of what these cars are about.

I can see your miffed with some comments made during the resto thread ,i for one am guilty ,but you do give me shed loads ,so bollocks nancy girl
